It's Wedding Season!

They say April showers bring May flowers and with wedding season upon us, those showers appear to be bridal! Here at Polkadots we are excited to be part of wedding craze and are hard at work making your special day tasty as well. Our custom wedding cakes are more elaborate and beautiful than ever - not to mention delicious! Perfect for any of your celebration needs, our cakes, cupcakes, cookies and macrons are sure to be the highlight of any event and be the perfect accessory to brides and grooms a like.

Be sure to place your orders at least a week in advance- we want to ensure your cake is absolutely perfect! Call ahead to schedule a tasting or for more information.

Valentine's Day Menu

It's time for Valentine's Day again. Pre-order whenever you are ready! We deliver these sweet treats to your love ones on Valentine's day. Minimum delivery to west campus area/downtown is 6 cupcakes. Delivery fee to other areas is priced based on the distance from our shop to your destination. 

We will deliver from 12PM - 8PM that day for residence and 12PM - 4PM to businesses (Please no specific delivery time due to high volume scheduled deliveries)

On Thursday, February 14th 2013 we have only the following cupcake flavors:

• Red Velvet - Southern vanilla cake with a hint of chocolate layered cream cheese buttercream
• Strawberry and Cream -strawberry cake  with strawberry cream cheese buttercream
• Triple Chocolate - chocolate cake with chocolate swiss buttercream
• Strawberry Shortcake - vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream
• Blackbottom - chocolate cake baked in with cream cheese and chocolate chip with cream cheese buttercream
• Chocolate Strawberry - chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream and chocolate covered strawberry on top

You can mix and match any six flavors that we have on the above list. All cupcakes will be decorated with pink/heart sprinkles  with no extra charge. Additional bow and gift tag on cupcake box is $2+tax.

 A gift box  of 6 cupcakes with bow and gift tag $18.50+tax

An individual gift box cupcakes with bow and gift tag is $5+tax

A gift box with 12 cupcakes with ribbon and gift tag is $32.25+tax
 
In addition to our cupcakes, we have our gluten free macaroons, pre-order only. One gift box will have 5 bite size strawberry gluten free macaron and come with complimentary bow and gift tag ($15+tax).

Our Oreo cake pop (pre-order only) is $2.75+tax each. We have a gift box of four $14+tax or a gift box of twelve for $35+tax. Additional bow and gift tag on cakepop box is $2+tax.

Pizza

At Polkadots we love our pizza. So we asked ourselves, "What is better than pizza?"

A pizza made out of cake! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we went there. This cheesy creation is actually our chocolate cake covered in fondant which was then airbrushed  to give it that fresh out of the brick oven look. For sauce we used strawberry jam and then covered it in grated white chocolate. Our toppings included fondant tomatoes, mushrooms, and basil. We melted the chocolate with a torch for that ooey gooey cheesiness. Delicious!

We're Engaged!

This week we had the pleasure of making cookies for an engagement party! The cookies display the proposal and are our signature sugar cookies. These cookies are perfect for any engagement event and we would be delighted to make them for you! All you have to do is come down to Polkadots and customize your order with our team. November Flavor of the Month!

It's November! Now that we are into a new month, Polkadots has a new flavor for everyone! Our latest flavor of the month is....unnamed! We are currently having a contest on our Facebook page to see who can give us the perfect name! The contest is going on until tomorrow November 9, 2012 . You can go on and click on the picture of the new cupcake and give us your suggestion! But for now, it is simply a delicious cupcake that you can come in and try every Thursday and Friday. It is a pumpkin cake with a spiced mousse, topped with an amazing coffee buttercream and salted caramel. It is the perfect treat for fall and the Thanksgiving season! So come on down and see us to taste it for yourself, and you will definitely enjoy the last few days of the week when you eat this tasty treat! This cupcake is an excellent continuation of our fall theme and the bold flavors will really make your taste buds be filled with joy....

Baby Shower!

Planning for a baby shower??? If so, we have the perfect cake for you! This week we had the privilege of creating two beautiful baby shower cakes featuring an adorable onesie and a cute blue whale. Both cakes were custom ordered and you can have one too! Order one week in advance and we can work with you to create a masterpiece that will be the cherry on top of your celebration. The cake can be simple or intricate, whatever you want to make your party perfect! We promise to make your little one an amazing cake for their shower!

Happy Birthday everyone! This week we have had several wonderful children celebrate their birthdays and we were thrilled to make birthday cakes for them. As always, we were happy to customize the cakes to match the theme of the party and this week we got to make an elephant cake, a train cake, a lady bug cake, and an artist cake!
